OneMoreLevel has a neat little infographic up comparing HTML5 to Flash, and it’s been getting a lot of mainstream coverage recently.
The message seems is that Flash is far better for gaming, though as VentureBeat points out, OneMoreLevel is a Flash gaming site and an HTML5 site might take a different view of things.

That’s one crazy sexy comparison chart. I’m personally all for both. I don’t see the point in picking a favorite. Both growing as fast as possible is in the best interest of everyone.
HTML5 is the future of online games. I would argue that developers will always (eventually) choose an open standard over a proprietary one. I am in the process of launching a site dedicated specifically to HTML5 games. While it is very true that the web is currently dominated by flash games, I would predict that this trend to change here in coming years. Remember HTML5 is still a very new technology.
